IRCTC was initially in the field of offering the e-ticketing
facility on the internet. Thereafter, it diversified into the catering and
tourism sector as well and at present, it provides the special train tourism
packages for people. At the same time, it has evolved into a multi-product
travel and tourism organization as it also provides the flight booking on
domestic airlines, hotels and even the cabs facility.
